Festival of Winter Walks 2010-2011
Ramblers' longest running festival of walks, designed to take full advantage of the delights of winter walking and make regular exercise a New Year's resolution.
Hundreds of walks will take place around the country between Christmas Day 2010 and January 2nd 2011, that are free, fun and open to anyone and everyone from toddlers to grandparents. Chosen and led by experienced Ramblers, the walks will showcase Britain at its wintry best. Many of the walks are short and family friendly, although there’ll be plenty of yomps for the seasoned hiker too.
